Terms of Service

1. The service

Sleepy Saga provides curated bedtime stories, in English and Hindi, for parents and caregivers to read aloud to children aged roughly 3–11. The Free plan or an active paid plan gives one account access to the story library, the reader, and Parents Corner.

2. Accounts

Accounts must be created and managed by an adult (18+). You are responsible for keeping your login details safe. One account may be shared within a single household, including siblings.

3. Subscription plans & billing

Sleepy Saga offers the following plans (prices in Indian Rupees, may vary by region and platform):

• Free — no cost, no payment method required, access to a portion of the story library, forever.
• Monthly — ₹150/month, billed monthly, full library access.
• Annual — ₹1,200/year (about ₹100/month), billed once a year, full library access.
• Lifetime — ₹3,999, billed once, full library access for as long as your account exists. This is not a subscription and never renews.

There is no free trial period on paid plans — choosing Monthly, Annual, or Lifetime charges you at checkout (or at App Store purchase confirmation, in the iOS app), not after a delay. If you only want free access, choose the Free plan; it never requires payment details. On iOS, purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system; on the website, through our payment processor.

4. Auto-renewal & cancellation

Monthly and Annual plans renew automatically at the price then in effect unless cancelled before the renewal date. On iOS, your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends; turn off auto-renewal any time in Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions on your device, at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. On the website, cancel from your account settings — access continues until the period you already paid for ends. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and never renews.

5. Refunds

Purchases made through the iOS app are refunded by Apple, not Sleepy Saga — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or in Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions. Purchases made on the website: contact hello@sleepysaga.com and we'll review the request, following applicable consumer protection law in your country.

6. Content

All stories, artwork, and text are owned by or licensed to Sleepy Saga and are for personal, family use only. Please don't republish, redistribute, or use them commercially. Sleepy Saga does not currently let users upload or publish their own content.

7. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, scrape, resell, or misuse the service, and don't try to access other users' accounts or data.

8. Children & this service

Sleepy Saga is designed to be read by an adult to a child, not used independently by a child. There is no way for a child to create a profile, chat, comment, or submit information through the service. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.

9. Changes & termination

We may update the library, features, or these terms; significant changes will be announced by email. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription — cancel that separately in Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions, or Apple may continue billing you.

10. Liability

Sleepy Saga is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved in the courts of India, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country gives you rights that can't be waived. There is no mandatory arbitration or class-action-waiver clause — disputes go through the ordinary courts, not private arbitration.
